This Browning SA-22 was made in 1974 by the famous Miroku factory in Japan. Chambered in .22lr, with 19″ barrel. Designed by John Browning in 1914. Some of you may not remember the 1970’s, at that time Japan was taking over the world with quality and craftsmanship. This rifle is no exception….top quality all the way.
The most amazing thing about these rifles is they are “Takedown”, see pictures. Meaning they can be easily made into two parts – perfect for concealment or backpacking. Great for a bugout bag as well.
Bore is very, very good. I have not fired this one personally, but these always go bang. There are a few tiny presses in the wood, see pictures. I think they could be buffed out. The wood retains the high gloss Browning was noted
