Henry’s new Side Gate lineup of guns includes a purpose-built shotgun that handles just like your favorite lever gun. The Henry Side Gate Lever Action Shotgun still features the same removable tube magazine found in all of the company’s guns. However, consumers will see a spring-loaded gate on the side of the receiver that allows for easy loading like other classic side-gate lever guns. Both loading methods work just fine, so you can choose whichever loading method works best for your situation.

Other features found on the Henry Side Gate Lever Action Shotgun include a hardened brass receiver that has the same yield and tensile strength as a steel receiver. The barrel band and butylate are also made from brass, and the gun is completed with beautiful, American walnut furniture complete with deep checkering. The gun features a 20-inch blued barrel, which is topped by a buckhorn rear sight and an ivory-bead front sight.
